An attempt to say the things you cannot say: The Silence, in Dutch “de Stilte”

The Silence wants to take children along, out of the concrete world of everyday into the abstract world of senses. Our organization wants to stimulate self-awareness of children but does not want to explain. Our organization wants to let children feel and taste art. Recognition is a very important issue, when we are speaking about our performances. When children recognize their own feelings and experience their own imagination, performances are accessible. This is what our dance company wants to achieve. Children who do not play will never learn, our dance company wants to stimulate the imagination of children, so they can play more and can tell their own story, the story of imagination.
